The name Bigfoot came from a bulldozer operator named Jerry Crew in 1958. When he found a large footprint on his construction site, he called it, “the tracks of old Bigfoot.”

There are lots of pictures of Bigfoot out there. Some of the pictures are of people playing a joke and dressing up in a gorilla suit and some are the real thing.

Bigfoot talk to each other by making a certain type of low, loud call that no other animal makes. Some of these calls have been recorded on tape.

Hair Samples

Bigfoot has a thick coat of long fur that’s usually black, brown or red in color. People who search for Bigfoot have collected some of his hair samples.

Footprints

Many Bigfoot footprints found in the snow, sand or mud have been preserved in plaster.

Bigfoot is a creature which has been seen throughout the world for hundreds of years. He’s tall, hairy and shy and people aren’t sure if he’s real or not since absolutely no one has ever caught one.
