I am by all means not a DNA expert whatsoever. I know for me and I would imagine for most people what we know of DNA is learned from TV shows mostly for example CSI. I actually watch a lot of paranormal TV and Bigfoot based programming of course. While watching all this I became interested in DNA and how exactly it works. I learned about DNA here and there and from specific documentary’s which used DNA testing to solve the mystery of some kind.

Anyway, from my understanding of how DNA works there has to be some type of sample on file to compare a Bigfoot sample to. In other words if I am not wrong we would need to have a verified sample of Bigfoot within the DNA database to have something to compare it to. Just having a supposed Bigfoot DNA sample is simply not good enough because we don’t know what Bigfoot DNA looks like or even is.

Not to mention the thousands of ways the DNA sample can be contaminated out there in the field and in transport to the DNA lab for analysis on the sample. DNA is very sensitive to his surroundings and how it’s handled by people.

I had a Bigfoot encounter once deep in the woods in Kentucky, there was no chance in hell I was going to be able to get a clean sample of the Bigfoot even if I wanted to. The creature was simply to elusive and quick. I basically saw it for second or two and then it vanished into the woods. I believe in order to extract a clean uncontaminated sample of Sasquatch is virtually impossible. The creature is simply to elusive and unapproachable. And with that said I honestly believe that the Ketchum Bigfoot DNA report is a hoax; I am sorry but it’s what I believe at this point. (Joseph)
