I own some land in the Kentucky area for a number of years now. When I bought the land from the previous owner they asked if I had a problem with Sasquatch. I said to them what do you mean and they told me that the creatures were known to travel across the property at times during the nighttime. It was part of the reason they were selling, they just felt a little uneasy with the safety of their children.
I said it was just fine and would like to purchase the property. In my head I was just in complete disbelief and did not really care about it and it was just me and my wife anyway. So the day came to move and everything went just smoothly. For a while everything just seemed normal until I decided to build a chicken coop one day. My wife decided she wanted fresh eggs and it would be fun for her to raise on the land.
To make a long story shorter, eventually after we got the coop set up and running; the chickens started to go missing one by one on a weekly basis. At first we thought it could be a fox or something but we could find no proof and also it was odd the cage door was always shut but we could not find any animal burrows anywhere.
So then we figured it was someone stealing our chickens. One night we hid a video recorder and left it running and we managed to get something on video. It was this rather large human like thing and did know if it was a human or something else because it just seemed way too large! However it was very dark so it was hard to tell for sure. I so decided to spend some time out there alone waiting for the person with a shotgun at hand.
Finally one night something showed up and it was huge, hairy and black but it was practically pitch black and very hard to see anything. It went straight to the chickens but I yelled and shot into the air. After that incident we took down the coop and sold the chickens. Nothing has happened since we took down the chicken coop and hopefully never will again. Was it a bigfoot; well I just don’t know but my belief in such creatures has increased a bit for sure.
